Why I Write
Why do I write, you ask?

I started early, at age six, writing my first lessons on a chalkboard with my cat as my only student. The cat purred and slept, but I was hooked. Since then, I taught high school, college, mothered six children, wrangled 25+ grandkids, ran my own business, lived in twelve states and Canada, and traveled much of the world—so yes, I have a few stories to share.

I love folklore, chocolate ice cream, playing piano, reading, and multi-genre writing (especially a good adventure with heart.) Each one makes me smile! I get my best ideas in the shower, and I adore the music of sunrise!

From 2023, I was the voice behind Fun Grandma Stories on You Tube, where grandmas share memories and magic. I like to think I have an unusual grasp on reality, but maybe that is just my imagination. Still, each book I write is like a vacation for me!
